In honor of Sri M's birthday, Satsang Seva Mission (SSM) volunteers organized heartfelt outreach activities offering support to marginalized groups at Vashi and Kopar Khairane, Navi Mumbai. On 9 November 2024, the SSM volunteers gathered at Vashi Sector 7 for a special annadaanam seva . Beginning with the Guru Stuti , the volunteers served a filling meal to daily wagers and their families from a less privileged housing colony nearby, creating an atmosphere of warmth and joy. The volunteers set off the following day on 10 November to Jan Vikas Society Bal Ashram, a shelter home for young boys hailing from marginalized communities. They offered school bags to the youngsters, extending the support given to them through weekly sessions on Spoken English and Computer Skills.  To join our volunteers at Navi Mumbai, please write to connect@satsang-foundation.org .

The Jan Vikas Society, Mermier Bal Ashram provides a safe haven for less privileged children aged between 5 and 15 years at Navi Mumbai. The children are provided with food, shelter, and education at municipal schools situated close by. Volunteers of the Satsang Seva Mission (SSM) at Navi Mumbai have launched a series of sessions to help develop co-curricular skills and support the holistic well-being of the children. Taking to sessions on Computers with great enthusiasm, the older children have learned how to use Microsoft Word and Excel for typing, formatting, data entry and calculations while the younger ones have explored their creative abilities with Paint. Spoken English sessions have been designed around the Play Way method, allowing the children to express themselves via role plays and group discussions.  With yoga and value education sessions on the anvil, the participants are poised to embark on an empowering learning journey. Volunteers of the Satsang Seva Mission (SSM) conducted an eye check-up camp for 60 students at Pragati Vidyalaya, Vashi Gaon in Navi Mumbai on 24 August 2024. Given the intensely competitive academic environment, these students of Grades 9 and 10 spend much time engrossed in their studies, poring over textbooks, and completing assignments.  With the eye check-up, the volunteers were able to help 15 students to redress vision-related problems with prescription glasses. The 100 elders sheltered at Parijatha Care Centre, a home for senior citizens, located in the Central Business District of Belapur, Navi Mumbai enjoyed a wonderful day with the Satsang Seva Mission volunteers on 11 May 2024. A soulful reading of the Srimad Bhagavatam and its fascinating stories set the tone for a tranquil meditation session that followed soon after. The elders learned to observe their breath quietly and gear up for a medley of bhajans sung in perfect harmony with the volunteers.  Engaging discussions and interactions marked the culmination of this special day. " - Sri M As the winter chill turns harsh with each passing day, Team SSM Mumbai decided to  distribute blankets at the Guru Gorakshanath Mandir at Vahal, Navi Mumbai.  The temple trust and other associations offer annadanam to the people of Vahal village every Thursday at this serene, verdant venue. During the annadanam seva on the 23 rd of December 2021, tokens were given to 125 families to receive their blankets.
