Seva Utsav 2024: Supporting elders at Anand Dham Old Age Home, Bhopal

Satsang Seva Mission (SSM) volunteers at Bhopal commemorated Founder's Day by offering a month's supply of dry rations to support the nutritional needs of 25 senior citizens at Anand Dham Old Age Home and spending heartwarming moments with them on 10 November 2024. 

Aged between 70 and 80 plus years, 8 sprightly elders participated in a nostalgic singing session as a senior volunteer regaled them with classic Hindi film songs to the rhythm of a harmonica and sang a duet with one of the residents to karaoke music. The elders also sang bhajans and shared their life experiences, creating a joyous ambience. 

Their warmth and wisdom revealed the beauty of living fully, even in the later stages of life, and demonstrated a remarkable strength in embodying peace and acceptance. For the volunteers, it was a humbling experience to witness their gratitude, optimism, and ability to celebrate the present.
