Seva Utsav 2024: A birthday of compassion - Founder’s Day celebrated across Tamil Nadu
In celebration of Sri M's 75th birthday on 6 November 2024, the Satsang Seva Mission volunteers in Tamil Nadu rolled up their sleeves and got to work. From feeding the hungry to caring for the elderly, their selfless acts touched countless lives.

Located in Pallikaranai, the Love Care Centre, part of the Parthasarathy Memorial Trust, shelters 70 differently-abled children. On the occasion of Founder's Day, 34 children were served a hearty lunch.
Udhavum Ullangal, a home for elderly destitute women, has received sustained support from The Satsang Foundation by way of dry rations and annadaanam seva on special occasions. On 8 November 2024, 35 ladies were served a wholesome breakfast in honor of Sri M's birthday.
In a beautiful display of community care, the SSM volunteers took to the streets of Chennai's famous coastal area to offer food to the homeless, offering a packed meal, buttermilk, and water to 51 recipients along the stretch of Marina Beach, Besant Nagar, Adyar, and Santhome.
Tuticorin

Chengalpet
In Chengalpet District, the SSM volunteers joined hands with Udhavum Ullangal to offer annadaanam seva at the Government Model Higher Secondary School on 9 November 2024. This school caters to children hailing from less privileged families. Prayers for Sri M's well-being and gratitude for the meal preceded the seva as 44 children enjoyed a delicious, festive meal.
Each meal served, each hand extended in kindness, and each heart touched reflects a powerful ripple of compassion, spreading far beyond the moment. As we celebrate these acts of giving, let us remember that true seva is not just about providing for others, but about igniting a shared flame of humanity that inspires all to uplift one another, creating a world where kindness knows no bounds.
