53,000 meals and more, Madhu Ki Rasoi continues to support the less privileged in Mathura-Vrindavan since Sept. 2023

Inaugurated on 3rd September 2023 in Vrindavan by Sri M, Madhu Ki Rasoi, an initiative of The Satsang Foundation under the auspices of the Satsang Seva Mission (SSM), is a community kitchen which provides daily, nourishing meals to the hungry and less privileged in the twin cities of Mathura and Vrindavan.

Every evening the Madhu Ki Rasoi vehicle makes its way to the Mathura Railway Station where itinerant sadhus, daily wagers, pavement dwellers, and weary travellers partake of a simple yet filling meal of puris and a vegetable curry. Having started with 200 meals per day, the meal count goes up to 220 meals to ensure that no one goes hungry.

During the special bhandara or community annadaanam seva held on the joyous occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami, 7th September 2023, a total of 12000 meals were offered during 15 hours of continuous seva. 53, 000 meals have been served till the end of April.
