Seva Utsav 2022: Founder’s Day Celebrated with Launch of Weekly Annadaanam Seva at Lakshmipura, Bengaluru

On Founder's Day, 6th November 2022, Team SSM Bengaluru launched a weekly annadaanam seva at Lakshmipura in the Gavipuram locality of South Bengaluru.

 

 

Renowned for the Sri Gavi Gangadhareshwara Temple, this old neighborhood is home to slum dwelling communities which subsist on daily wages to earn their living.

Team SSM Bengaluru served a filling meal, procured from Adamya Chetana, to 100 people from these communities. The menu comprised coconut rice, puliyogare or tamarind rice, plain rice and sambar, and sweet kesari bhath.

 

 

As the recipients came back for a second helping of food, the team members expressed their heartfelt gratitude for being of service to them.
