Distribution of Dry Ration Kits to Pourakarmikas at Bellandur, Bengaluru

On 12th July 2022, Team SSM Bengaluru commemorated the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima with the distribution of dry ration kits to 100 pourakarmikas or municipal workers at Bellandur, Sarjapur Road. 

 

 

Each kit comprised 5 kgs of rice, 2 kgs of wheat flour, 1 litre of cooking oil, 1 kg each of semolina, lentils, sugar, and salt, and a bar of bathing soap.

 

 

The team members expressed their gratitude to these oft-neglected municipal workers who toil relentlessly to keep our cities clean.
