Dry Ration Kits for Pourakarmikas at Sir C. V. Raman General Hospital, Bengaluru
In pursuance of its constant efforts to serve the needy, Team SSM Bengaluru reached out to the pourakarmikas or municipal sweepers who work at Sir C.V. Raman General Hospital in Indiranagar, East Bengaluru.
On the 3rd of February 2022, the team members distributed 40 dry ration kits which comprised rice, wheat flour, lentils, semolina, salt, sugar, oil, and soap. They ensured that each kit could sustain a family of four members for a fortnight.
The warm smiles and quiet dignity of the pourakarmikas touched the hearts of the team members as they handed over the kits to them with the assistance of the hospital administrative personnel.
The team members also expressed their gratitude to the volunteers and donors for their unflinching support.
