Team SSM Threads Together Beautiful Memories for Mathura Juvenile Reform Home in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh

For the Juvenile Reform Home in Mathura, Deepavali and Sri M's birthday celebrations initiated by Team SSM this week revived beautiful memories. When Sri M had come to Vrindavan for his reading of the Bhagvat in November 2019, the only place that he had visited to bless children was this reform home.

The children had watched a short film on Sri M's 15-month-long padayatra of 7,500 kms across the country from Kanya Kumari to Kashmir for peace and harmony and then, in a touching gesture,  each child threaded a single bead of a tulsi garland with the last one being put in by Sri M. He had then put the garland around his neck and blessed the children before leaving.

The team initiated the celebrations by taking the Walk of Hope oath with the children to be messengers of peace and harmony before distributing diyas asking them to become guiding lights, forgetting all their differences. The celebrations ended with the distribution of gift hampers with chocolates, potato chips, and savouries that they truly relished since such goodies were not accessible  in the reformatory.

The team left with their hearts full, blessing the children, and praying that each one of them would have a bright future ahead.
