Blind Sadhus Celebrate Govardhan Puja and Annakut With Team SSM Mathura in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh

In continuing observance of Annadanam and Seva week in honour of Deepavali and Sri M's birthday celebrations, Team SSM Mathura served 17 blind sadhus of Vrindavan with special prasad on the auspicious day of Annakut and Govardhan Puja on Friday the 5th of November.

The Surdas Sadhus sang bhajans in mellifluous voices before being served a hot meal of kadhi, mixed vegetable, potato curry, rice, puris, and a delicious sweet on leaf plates. Not a morsel was wasted by the gracious sadhus as they accepted the offering as prasad and thanked Sri M for his continuing work in Vrindavan.

Every year for the past five years, on January 1 the Sadhus get together at the home of a satsangi to recite the Sundarkand Path of the Ramayana and gladden the hearts of the team with their impeccable voices.
