October 30th marked the high point of the festive season for the children of the Chanda Satsang Vidyalaya in Village Lathira of Garhmukteshwar District as they celebrated Deepavali and the birthday of its founder, Sri M together this time.

The students presented a lively skit depicting the spiritual search of young Sri M, his journey towards the Himalayas, and eventual meeting with his Guru, Sri Maheshwaranath Babaji at Badrinath. Born on November 6, 1949, Sri M's birthday is also celebrated as Founder's Day at The Satsang Foundation.

The staff, TSF Delhi-NCR  Kendra members, and students recounted inspirational life lessons from the life and work of Sri M even as a Guru Vandana dance, Govardhan Krishna Leela, and Gopi Geet added life and colour to the cultural programmes presented by the children.

The school wore a festive look with children tastefully decorating the arena with flowers, rangoli, and colour paper designs. A special lunch followed by the distribution of delicious Deepavali sweets rounded off the happy occasion.
