Annadanam Program at St. John's Hospital in Bengaluru, Karnataka

'Caring for those who care for others.'

The Satsang Seva Mission team at Bangalore embarked on the mission of providing freshly-prepared meal boxes to the care-givers of the patients in the general ward of the St. John's Hospital, Bengaluru from the 3rd of October.

The meal box comprises rice, lentils, and vegetables. It is hygienically prepared and packed at Adamya Chetana, a non-profit organisation, and delivered at the hospital for distribution.

The team members lovingly handed out 200 meal boxes during this first session and thereby provided much-needed succor to the care-givers of the patients who usually hail from low-income households.

Team SSM Bengaluru intends to continue with the distribution of these meal boxes every fortnight and eventually every week. The thought that someone cares for them brought much cheer to the recipients of these meal boxes.
