Festive annadaanam seva, dry rations offered for the elders at Karunaradham Charitable Trust, Hyderabad

Volunteers of the Satsang Seva Mission (SSM) Hyderabad spent a serene  afternoon with the elders sheltered at Karunaradham Charitable Trust at Chengicherla, Hyderabad on 31st March 2024. This shelter provides food, clothing, medical care, and a safe and caring home for elders who have faced severe hardships and abandonment. A few residents spoke with the volunteers, recounting their challenges until they found refuge at Karunaradham.  The SSM volunteers provided a month's supply of dry rations comprising rice, wheat flour, lentils, semolina, and cooking oil to ensure the daily nutritional needs of the residents.  The residents then partook of a festive, hearty meal: flavourful vegetable pulao with capsicum gravy; white rice teamed with spinach and mango dal , papad , and raita ;  and syrupy gulab jamuns .  Assuring the founder of their continued support to his mission, the volunteers bid a fond farewell to the elders. Installation of water pipeline at ANIKET Sevabhavi Sanstha, Pune

The ANIKET Sevabhavi Sanstha at Pune provides refuge, rehabilitation, education, and a safe space for differently abled children from less privileged families. Since the past four years, the volunteers of Satsang Seva Mission (SSM) have consistently supported the well-being of these children in myriad ways - dry rations, festive annadaanam seva , clothes, sports clothing, yoga sessions, and financial support for utilities.  On the occasion of Rang Panchami , 30th March 2024, the volunteers met the founder, Ms. Kalpana Varpe, and contributed towards the installation of a water pipeline to help ease water scarcity at the new home located near Lavasa Link Road.  Euphoric cheers swept through the home as the children and SSM volunteers celebrated the arrival of Spring with resplendent, organic colors. Supporting girls' health and hygiene at Velimela Model School, Hyderabad

Satsang Seva Mission volunteers facilitated the donation of a vending machine stocked with 320 complementary and biodegradable sanitary napkins to the girl students of Velimela Model School in Tellapur District, Hyderabad on 19 March 2024. This generous donation was made possible by the employees of Payswiff (Cholamandalam Finance Group) and also included 350 sanitizer bottles and a supply of chocolates for the students. Moving forward, the volunteers have committed to donating 500 biodegradable sanitary napkins every month to these girl students on behalf of The Satsang Foundation. This initiative aims to support girls' health and hygiene needs, ensuring they have access to essential products for their well-being. Compassion in action: Satsang Seva Mission uplifts spirits in Nagpur

The  Satsang Seva Mission (SSM) volunteers at Nagpur continued their monthly seva , touching the lives of less privileged children and those with visual impairments. Equipping for success On 5th March 2024, Team SSM visited Nutan Bharat Vidyalaya, a school for less privileged children to offer stationery kits to all 120 students. These kits, containing notebooks, pens, and other essentials, arrived just in time for their second term exams. The enthusiasm in the children's eyes was a testament to the impact of this seemingly small gesture. Gifts of comfort and joy On 16th March, the SSM volunteers visited The Blind School in Laxmi Nagar and offered 90 bed sheets to help enhance the living environment of the visually impaired children residing there. A powerful message tailored for young minds Team SSM Mumbai Kendra extends its gratitude to the director of the documentary, Shri Akash Chopra, Sagar Pictures for providing a specially-edited version of the full-length documentary, captivating the minds of these young children. The prize distribution ceremony at Goregaon Mithanagar Municipal School celebrated the achievements of students in various extracurricular activities. Prizes were awarded for outstanding performances in essay writing, bookkeeping, and reviews on the "Walk of Hope" film. The students exhibited remarkable enthusiasm and active participation across all programs. With a spirit of collaboration and a focus on learning beyond textbooks, The Satsang Foundation (TSF), Mumbai Kendra volunteers brought a transformative experience to the Mithanagar Municipal School, Goregaon.  They skillfully steered the session away from rigid lectures and towards a warm, engaging conversation. Themes like determination, persistence, and personal development took root, captivating students across the classroom.  The interactive approach resonated deeply.  Students actively participated, their enthusiasm evident in thoughtful responses and inquisitive questions. Driven by Sri M's vision, Madhu Ki Rasoi practices annadaanam seva . Since its start, the kitchen has served over 40,000 meals, a testament to its commitment to fighting hunger. More than just sustenance, each meal represents hope and a reminder that kindness exists even amidst daily struggles.
